This weekend marks Freddie Freeman’s first trip to Atlanta since signing with the Dodgers this past winter. Freeman’s long history with the Braves begins with the organization drafting him out of Villa Park High School in the second round of the 2007 draft. He broke into the bigs as a September call up in 2010 and was a full-time player the following year.
Safe to say, Freddie has a ton of memories from his time in Atlanta. He helped the Braves win the 2021 World Series, beating the Dodgers in the process. He made five All-Star teams and won the 2020 NL MVP.
