The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled Edward Paredes and optioned J.T. Chargois to Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to Wednesday’s series finale against the Colorado Rockies. Paredes joins the team for a second time this season.
He was first recalled May 1 in a corresponding move to Brock Stewart getting sent to Oklahoma City. The left-handed reliever retired two of three batters faced in his only appearance for the Dodgers.
In 15 games with OKC, Paredes has gone 2-2 with a 1.17 ERA and 1.50 WHIP while holding opponents to a .204 batting average. He’s collected 19 strikeouts but also issued 12 walks across 15.
