It doesn’t matter how talented of a player you are, everyone struggles at some point during their rookie season in the majors. There will always be growing pains but it’s how players overcome those that define who they will be. Miguel Vargas had some of his biggest struggles earlier this season adjusting to life as a major leaguer, but he has started to round into form a bit of late.
His bat has started to come alive lately, but he knows that he can’t settle. Every day is a new journey for the young player and he needs to keep working to keep his spot in the starting lineup.
