Good things come when you are apart of the Dodgers organization. For Dodgers Assistant GM Josh Byrnes, he may have an opportunity to be apart of another city known for baseball.
The Detroit Tigers have been in search for a new GM after letting go Al Avila who had served in the Tigers front office for 22 years including seven years as the GM. Among the candidates, Byrnes is considered to be one of the top candidates the Tigers are looking into.
Byrnes had an opportunity two years ago as he interviewed for a GM job for the Phillies, but ultimately ended up staying with the Dodgers.
