Dodgers News: Dennis Santana Transferred To 60-Day Disabled List

The Los Angeles Dodgers transferred Dennis Santana to the 60-day disabled list in order to create room for Daniel Corcino on the 40-man roster. Pat Venditte was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in order to place Corcino on the active roster.

Santana was initially placed on the 10-day DL Friday, retroactive to June 8, due to a right rotator cuff strain. He suffered the injury minutes before the Dodgers’ road trip finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Santana was due to make his first career MLB start but was scratched because of what the team initially diagnosed as right lat soreness.
