Baseball takes devotion. From February to hopefully the end of October, managers, coaches, training staff, and players must spend at least eight hours a day, seven days a week focusing on the sport. During the offseason, they also work hard to prepare for the upcoming season.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers had a meaningless doubleheader at Coors Field. It was a publicity stunt by Major League Baseball before this season. The Dodgers have accomplished everything that they can, and the Colorado Rockies are trying to avoid a 100-loss season.
It would have been understandable if the Dodgers didn’t take this four-game series seriously considering the NL West was already locked up.
