The importance of rookie Bobby Miller to the Los Angeles Dodgers can’t be understated. If the Dodgers want any chance of gong deep in the postseason, Miller must perform well and turn into a true ace of this team.
Fortunately, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts talked about a conversation he had with the rookie earlier this season that has really helped turn things around. After his start against the San Diego Padres last month, Roberts spoke to Miller about controlling his emotions better, and has seen him already make good on that conversation.
“That’s part of the job as a coach, to coach the player up when they need it, and then it’s more on the player to take the information and apply it,” Roberts said.
