Freddie Freeman is doing everything he can to play through his ankle injury. If this was the regular season, he would be on the injured list for at least a month.
But, this is the postseason and the pain became unbarable on Sunday night in a 10-2 loss to the San Diego Padres in Game 2 of the NLDS that he had to remove himself from the game in the sixth inning.
His status for Game 3 on Tuesday is to be determined but manager Dave Roberts did give a brief update during his postgame press conference.
