The Los Angeles Dodgers went down 0-2 in the NLDS on Monday night in very disappointing fashion, as the offense mustered just two runs and went 1-for-6 with runners in scoring position.
They had missed opportunities with runners on in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th innings, and ultimately lost the game because of it.
One of those missed opportunities came when Freddie Freeman grounded into a double play in the 7th inning with Mookie Betts on first base. Freeman fouled a ball off his knee and was in immediate pain, but stayed in the game and finished the at-bat.
