Dodgers star pitcher Julio Urias is nearing a return to the mound. On Saturday, Urias threw a bullpen session at Dodger Stadium, as he continues to check the boxes as he rehabs his hamstring strain.
Urias has been out since May 18, when he left his start against the St. Louis Cardinals after just three innings. That was arguably the worst start of his career, as he allowed four home runs in the third inning — but we later found out why.
Now, Urias has been progressing. While the Dodgers hoped he would be back for this weekend’s series against the Yankees, he’s not quite ready yet.
