We all know the Dodgers have been dominant during Dave Roberts’ tenure. Since his first season in 2016, the Dodgers have made the playoffs every single year, and have won the NL West six out of seven times.
When the Dodgers clinched their 2022 postseason berth, Roberts became the first manager in MLB history to lead a team to the postseason in each of his first seven seasons.
After Thursday’s comeback victory, however, Roberts made even more history.
Following the Dodgers’ 104th win of the season, Roberts joined Cubs manager Frank Chance as the only managers in MLB history to have four seasons with at least 104 wins.
