Despite the Dodgers dropping two of three games to the New York Yankees this weekend, there were a few positives that came from the series. Namely, rookie pitcher Bobby Miller continuing to shine, showing that he truly belongs at the Major League level.
Miller was incredible against the Yankees, throwing six shutout innings and striking out seven. His control and ability to limit the New York lineup was thoroughly impressive and got the attention of many around the game, including Yankees manager Aaron Boone.
Since coming up to the big leagues, Miller has calmed the minds of the Dodgers front office and proved that he is a true building block for the franchise.
