Mookie Betts is playing nearly perfect baseball at the moment. The Dodgers star put together a 5 hit game and 7 hit day earlier this week and is 11-18 on this current road trip for LA.
Really, no one has been better in the month of August than Betts, who is now batting .309 with a 1.008 OPS and 34 home runs.
“He’s locked in. He’s in the zone,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said this week. “He’s playing great baseball. It doesn’t matter the score, every at-bat is just a fight and more times than not he’s coming out winning that battle.
