Dodgers superstar outfielder (and second baseman) Mookie Betts is off to a pretty nice start to his 2023 season. He’s started all 12 games for the Dodgers, and is slashing .279/.426/.512 with two home runs, four RBIs, 10 walks and an NL-best 11 runs scored. He’s also played stellar defense in both right field and second base, showing off his arm on a number of plays.
D-backs could have had runners on the corners with nobody out and a shaky Brusdar Graterol in to face the meat of the lineup.
