The Los Angeles Dodgers signed veteran infielder Danny Espinosa to a Minor League deal, and he was in the Triple-A Oklahoma City lineup on Sunday, playing shortstop.
Espinosa has played eight Major League seasons, with the first seven coming with the Washington Nationals. He has made his way around the league since the start of the 2017 season though, spending time with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Seattle Mariners and Tampa Bays Rays in 2017.
He then signed a Minor League contract with the New York Yankees this past offseason before being released in the middle of the spring.
