Dodgers News: Danny Espinosa Released From Organization

Whether filling out the fringes of their 25-man active roster or their Minor League affiliates, Los Angeles Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman has made it a priority to stockpile depth.

Over recent years it’s netted them unexpected production and significant contributions from the likes of Charlie Culberson, Brandon Morrow and Max Muncy, among others. The Dodgers bolstered their Triple-A Oklahoma City infield a few weeks ago by signing Danny Espinosa to a Minor League contract.

He joined the organization shortly after getting released by the Toronto Blue Jays. Prior to that, the veteran infield was cut by the New York Yankees during Spring Training.
