It was tough to watch Daniel Hudson go down over the weekend. The Dodgers reliever grabbed his knee immediately after a non-contact play resulted in him going to the ground on Friday night. The team would later reveal that he had suffered a torn ACL and would be out for the season.
The 35-year-old veteran was playing in his 13th season in the big leagues when he suffered the injury. It was his second with the Dodgers and he was pitching pretty well, posting a 2.22 ERA across 25 total appearances.
But he’s not quite done despite the length of the recovery period for a torn ACL, even at his age.
