Dodgers RHP Daniel Hudson is working back from a torn ACL, as well as ankle tendinitis he suffered while recovering from the knee injury. It was starting to sound like the veteran reliever may not be ready for the start of the season, and on Monday, he confirmed it. Hudson told Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register that he will not, in fact, be ready to open the season on the active roster, and is frustrated with his progress in his recovery from the ACL surgery.
It’s a bummer for Hudson that he won’t be ready to go for the beginning of the season, however, at 36 years old, that’s far from the goal.
