The Los Angeles Dodgers completed their comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the National League Championship Series and although he went quiet in the decisive Game 7, Corey Seager was recognized as MVP. It’s the first time Seager has earned NLCS MVP honors in his young career.
It was only Seager’s second time playing in the NLCS, as he missed it in 2017 due to injury. Seager made the most of his return to playing for the pennant, going 9-for-29 with two doubles, five home runs and 11 RBI.
“It wasn’t me, man. It was this whole team,” Seager said during his acceptance speech.
