Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Made Incredible Personal History in Friday’s Win Over the Yankees

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the New York Yankees 8-4 on Friday night in the first game between the teams since 2019. Clayton Kershaw got the call for LA in the series opener, and was absolutely dominant, going seven innings and allowing just two earned runs while striking out nine.

Okay, now I feel confident calling this Clayton Kershaw's final line:

7 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 9 K, 13 Whiffs. He threw 96 pitches.

The Dodgers needed a good start from Kershaw to open the series against the Yankees and that's exactly what he did.
