You could not have scripted a worse start for the Dodgers. Future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw took the mound for the Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLDS, and didn’t last very long.
Kershaw allowed six runs to score while recording just one out, before being relieved by RHP Emmet Sheehan.
It was the shortest start of Kershaw’s entire career, and could not have come at a worse time.
