The Dodgers have a recent history of making guys very flexible on the field. It sort of started with Kiké hernandez, who was the true super utilityman for Los Angeles. But that has extended to guys like Chris Taylor and Gavin Lux as well. That has made them far more valuable in recent years.
But things might be changing this year for Chris Taylor. He came up exclusively playing infield with the Mariners in 2014. It wasn’t until he came over to the Dodgers that they decided to try him at more positions. But that move has proven to change his career, along with a change in his swing.
