Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, are donating $100,000 to three organizations — the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department, and the Salvation Army — for wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles.
This comes after the city of Los Angeles has been ravaged by fires over the last three days, with two major ones in the Pacific Palisades and Pasadena areas. Other fires have popped up in West Hills, Calabasas, Studio City, and Hollywood Hills.
The Freemans are giving back to the L.A. community and doing what they can to help out, as have other players on the Dodgers including utility man Chris Taylor.
