A day after a slew of roster changes for the Dodgers pitching staff, LA announced a pair of transactions on Monday before first pitch against the Arizona Diamondbacks to try to help an exhausted pitching staff. The Dodgers recalled left-handed reliever Caleb Ferguson from his rehab assignment with the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers.
Ferguson hasn’t pitched for the Dodgers since September 15, 2020. The lefty underwent Tommy John surgery shortly after that game and has been working his way back to the majors ever since. In six appearances in Triple-A this year, Fergie has a 11.
