The Toronto Blue Jays announced Sunday that they have designated Mitch White for assignment in order to make room for incoming RHP Adam Kloffenstein and RHP Sem Robberse, whom they acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals.
White, who was initially drafted by the Dodgers in 2016, held a 7.11 ERA across 12.2 innings pitched this season. The Dodgers dealt White to the Blue Jays in 2022, acquiring RHP Nick Frasso and LHP Moises Brito in the process. Frasso and Brito have yet to make their MLB debuts. Frasso holds a 4.37 ERA across 55.
