Dodgers former shutdown reliever Blake Treinen may possibly see his return to the mound by the end of the season.
Treinen was as good as it gets in 2021 posting a 1.99 ERA in 72.1 innings. Since then, the former All-Star has only thrown six innings after dealing with multiple major injuries.
Dealing with an injury-riddled 2022, the flamethrowing righty came back for one postseason outing. After that outing and early postseason exit, the now 35-year-old pitcher was announced to undergo major shoulder surgery to repair his labrum and rotator cuff in his throwing arm.
