The Dodgers captured their seventh World Series title in 2020. After 32 years of not reaching the promised land, LA finally reached the mountaintop as they defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-2 in Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
Julio Urias pitched lights out all postseason long, and he was lucky enough to get the final out in the World Series, with catcher Austin Barnes being the recipient of the pitch.
The baseball from the final out instantly becomes very valuable and a treasure of some sort.
Barnes realized that and took advantage of it, as we find out what happened to the baseball after it was caught.
