It was a bad all around effort for the Dodgers on Sunday who lost 11-5 and fell into third place in the NL West early in the season. There were some stand out performances for sure. J.D. Martinez had a great game with a triple and a double and 2 RBI. And Shelby Miller along with Phil Bickford combined to do the unthinkable… they held the Arizona offense scoreless for 3 innings. But the wildest moment involved veteran catcher Austin Barnes.
Austin was ejected for the first time his career. The moment happened in the fourth inning when he was tossed for arguing balls and strikes with home plate umpire Lance Barrett.
