While the Los Angeles Dodgers are less than a week away from reporting for the start of Spring Training 2.0 at Dodger Stadium, former teammate Andrew Toles is navigating personal struggles in the public spotlight.
Toles was arrested this week in Florida when he was found sleeping behind a Federal Express building, located at Key West International Airport. Police offers wrote in their report that Toles was given multiple opportunities to leave the premises before arresting him on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.
Language in the police report suggested Toles is homeless. The incident marked another challenge in what’s seemingly been a difficult few years for the former Tampa Bay Rays draft pick.
