The 2023 season for the Dodgers was one of excellence, at least until the postseason came around. LA overcame every obstacle in their way, but once the calendar shifted to October, they fell apart.
The team was swept out of the postseason by their division rival Arizona Diamondbacks, and now they enter the offseason with more questions than answers. It’s also the third time in the last five years that LA has failed to get out of the first round of the postseason.
President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman spoke to reporters about what happened on Tuesday, and was pretty straightforward about the disaster that ensued in the postseason.
