Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy was the subject of trade rumors ahead of this year’s trade deadline, but Tuesday came and went with the slugger staying put in Southern California
Amidst conversations surrounding All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado, Muncy shared some encouraging words from GM Andrew Friedman to him before the deadline earlier this week in a podcast.
“When those rumors came out it was a rough day for the family,” Muncy said. “They kind of started freaking out a little bit. Andrew talked to me pretty much right away and told me the whole deal and explained to me.
