Dodgers News and Notes- Roster Moves, Injury Reports, All-Star Voting and More

The Los Angeles Dodgers had a historic first inning on Wednesday evening, when they scored 11 runs in the first inning against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The offense jumped on Cardinals’ pitcher Carlos Martinez early, scoring four runs before the first out. Martinez left the game with the bases loaded after only getting two out and allowing seven runs. He was relieved by Jake Woodford, who gave up a grand slam to Cody Bellinger before getting the last out of the frame. Walker Buehler had a double, and that was Bellinger’s first home run of the season.
