After completing a four-game set with the New York Mets, the Los Angeles Dodgers will welcome the National League West-leading Colorado Rockies to Dodger Stadium for a three-game weekend series.
With that, the Dodgers have swapped Alex Wood and Hyun-Jin Ryu in their rotation so that Wood gets the start against the Rockies in the series opener on Friday. Ryu now starts in the four-game finale against the Mets on Thursday.
Wood allowed five hits over six scoreless innings when he last faced the Rockies, May 13 at Coors Field, and earned the win. The southpaw finished with 10 strikeouts, his second-most in a start this season.
