Every player goes through slumps during a season, it’s just part of the game. However, for Dodgers infielder Max Muncy, it seems like sometimes he’s in a perpetual slump that has no light at the end of the tunnel. But then he shows that he still has some pop left in his bat and hits a crucial home run. That’s exactly what happened to Muncy over the last few days as the team took three of four games from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In Thursday’s win, Muncy stepped up to the plate with the game tied 2-2 in the sixth inning and blasted one directly to center field to give the Dodgers a two-run lead.
