Just when the Dodgers seemingly got some traction with a seven-run offensive explosion and a gem of a start by Kenta Maeda on Thursday in Miami, they will have to wait to see if the rain clears in Washington D.C. before they can pick up where they left off.
The Dodgers-Nationals series opener was rained out on Friday afternoon. A split doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, but the weather may not cooperate. Game one is penciled in for 11 AM PST and game two at 5 PM PST.
Rain continues to fall and the wind is howling at the very top of Nationals Park.
