The Los Angeles Dodgers named their minor league Players of the Year for 2023 on Thursday, giving the honors to hot hitting infielder Michael Busch and fast rising bullpen arm Kyle Hurt.
Busch has again been one of the top hitters in Triple-A this season, slashing .322/.426/.613 with 26 home runs and 89 RBI for the Oklahoma City Dodgers, proving himself as a power threat in the heart of the OKC lineup. The 25-year-old currently ranks as the organization’s No. 2 prospect, per MLB Pipeline.
Hurt embarked on a meteoric rise in 2023, pitching for both Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City before making his major league debut on September 12.
