When you think of some of the biggest homerun hitters in MLB history, you think of Barry Bonds. You think of Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Mark McGwire, and Ken Griffey Jr. A guy you don’t often think of is the Dodgers’ Mookie Betts.
But Betts accomplished something on Thursday night that very few in baseball history have ever done before. When he launched a ball off of Luis Perdomo in the 5th inning of the Dodges win, it was his sixth career three-homerun game. That put Mookie Betts in some historic company.
