Some unsavory news out of Dodgers camp on Saturday. After rumors swirled on Friday, today LA Times writer Jorge Castillo confirmed that right-handed pitching prospect Edwin Uceta was being sent home by the team after breaking COVID protocols.
Uceta was sent home for breaking the team's COVID-19 safety protocols. He was placed on the injured list at the beginning of training camp for undisclosed reasons. The 22-year-old righty had a 2.77 ERA in 123 1/3 innings between Rancho and Tulsa last season.

There’s no word on how Uceta broke the protocols, only the info that he was suspended and sent home to the Dominican Republic.
