The Los Angeles Dodgers should not be expecting to get third baseman Max Muncy back anytime soon.
The 33-year-old infielder was originally placed on the 60-day injured list back in May with an oblique injury. Now, it seems like it might take him longer than the minimum 60 days to make his return to the field. Since Muncy is still dealing with soreness in his oblique, his recovery has slowed and he’s not expected to return until quite a bit after the All-Star break.
