Dodgers: Max Muncy to Wear Cleats Honoring Tommy Lasorda at Home Opener

Friday is a big day for the Dodgers. It’s the first time that they will welcome fans since the 2019 NLDS. It’s also the day that they will get their World Series ring and be honored at Chavez Ravine for their 2020 run.

But it’s also the first time in a VERY long time that they will start the season without Tommy Lasorda in the stands. The long-time Dodgers hall of fame manager passed away in January after a lengthy battle with a heart issue.

While the Dodgers do have a celebration of Lasroda’s life planned prior to Saturday’s game, he will also be part of Friday’s.
