The Dodgers are hoping that they caught a break with their player health this weekend in Atlanta. Max Muncy exited the game with soreness in his ankle on Friday night, and Austin Barnes appeared to badly turn his ankle on the bag on Saturday.
As a result, both guys are out of the lineup on Sunday morning against the Braves. Dave Roberts said during his pregame presser that he expects Barnes to be available in an emergency catching situation, but that’s it. The Dodgers backstop came in today feeling sore and with a swollen ankle.
