Dodgers’ Matt Kemp Named National League Player of the Week

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp has been named the National League Player of the Week for the period ending June 3rd.

Kemp hit .429 (9-for-21) with six runs scored, two doubles, three home runs and eight RBI across seven games played to claim his sixth career POTW award, previously winning for the period ending August 3, 2014. Among his NL counterparts, Matt finished his strong week tied for first in home runs and RBI; second in slugging percentage (.952); tied for third in total bases (20); tied for fourth in batting average; and tied for fifth in runs scored and five extra-base hits.
