The Dodgers (16-25) look to bounce back after a disappointing loss in the series opener against the Marlins (15-26). They were only able to muster five hits overall, and their offense with RISP was terrible again, going 0-7 on the evening. Since April 29, the Dodgers are slashing .164/.279/.197 with runners in scoring position. Over that frame, their .164 batting average is above only the Diamondbacks, and their slugging percentage (.197), OPS (.476), and wRC+ (34) are all the lowest in the league. Yeah. If they’re not able to win tonight, they’ll be tied with the Marlins and Padres for the second worst record in the entire NL.
