Five days after the initial reports surfaced, the Dodgers on Wednesday afternoon finally announced the one-year deal of righty swing man Tom Koehler.
However, despite the official announcement by the club, the exact dollar amount of the contract is still unknown.
Koehler hit the free agent market when the Blue Jays non-tendered him at the deadline in early December. Before last season’s waiver deadline in mid-August, the Marlins traded Koehler to Toronto for pitching prospect Osman Gutierrez and cash considerations. Between the Marlins and the Blue Jays combined, Koehler made 27 appearances—13 of which were starts—and threw to the tune of a 6.
