The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a flurry of moves before the second game of a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Dodgers have recalled young right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller from Triple-A and activated veteran relief pitcher Ryan Brasier. In response to these moves, the Dodgers have optioned right-handed pitcher Michale Grove and young southpaw Justin Wrobleski.
Although Miller is back in the major leagues after a brief stint in Triple-A, he hasn’t pitched his best ball.
