The Dodgers announced numerous changes to the front office on Sunday afternoon.
Brandon Gomes, former pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays, has been promoted to vice president and assistant general manager.
Gomes has made his way up the Dodgers player development ladder, beginning his time with the club as the minor league pitching coordinator before becoming the director of player development in 2016.
Gomes will be sharing the title with Jeff Kingston, who was added to the Dodgers front office during the 2018 Winter Meetings.
Leaving his position vacant, it allowed for more internal promotions within the organization.
