The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated right-hander Brett Honeywell ahead of their series finale against the Detroit Tigers. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers have optioned right-hander Ricky Vanasco, the team announced.
Honeywell was activated one day after the Dodgers claimed him off of waivers. He previously spent the 2024 season with the Pittsburgh Pirates, posting a 2.70 ERA across 3.1 innings of action. Honeywell also pitched 39 innings of Triple-A this season, posting a 4.85 ERA and 33 strikeouts.
Vanasco heads back to Triple-A Oklahoma City after just one game back in the major leagues.
