SAN FRANCISCO -- With 11 players already on the disabled list, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was glad to report Scott Van Slyke and Chris Hatcher had suffered only minor injuries Saturday.
Van Slyke left the game with tightness in his back. That improved overnight and Roberts said Van Slyke is day to day. With an off day Monday, Van Slyke should be available for the home opener on Tuesday.
"He's feeling considerably better than yesterday," Roberts said. "You talk to the player and you wonder if it’s going to be a couple, two- three-day thing or is it going to be a week thing.
