PHOENIX -- The worst team in the majors against left-handed pitching hasn't gotten any better on this road trip.
During the past nine games in Miami, New York and Arizona, the Dodgers have gone 6 for 67 (.090) with 21 strikeouts against left-handed pitching of all types and sizes. And now, they will face left-handed starting pitchers in three of the next four games -- Diamondbacks lefty Robbie Ray today, Giants ace Madison Bumgarner on Monday and Matt Moore on Wednesday.
That and the desire to rest his veterans at the end of the long trip (and with the Giants coming to LA Monday) prompted Dodgers manager Dave Roberts to shake up his lineup for the series finale at Chase Field.
