PITTSBURGH -- The revolving door at the back of the Dodgers' starting rotation spit out another candidate Saturday.
Right-hander Nick Tepesch lasted only four innings Friday night and only one start in the rotation. He was designated for assignment Saturday, allowing the Dodgers to promote infielder Chris Taylor from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Taylor was acquired last week from the Seattle Mariners in a minor-league trade for former first-round pick Zach Lee and went 6 for 12 in his three games with the OKC Dodgers.
That leaves a vacancy in the Dodgers' starting rotation once again.
